I love music.  Any kind of music.  Most of my inspiration comes from a strong influence in Traditional and Gospel music while I was growing up.  However, I can enjoy just about any type of music if the mood is right and the music is well crafted.  The piano is my first love but any instrument with keys will do.  I also dabble with the acoustic guitar. 

Everything on this site was created for the challenge and the experience.   It is the process of ‘creating’ that I really enjoy. Sharing it with others here, is a pleasant side benefit.

The Studio

The Computer is how I make my living so the marriage of computers (Sonar X3 DAW) and keyboards (Yamaha MOX 8 currently) is a match made in heaven as far as I am concerned! 

Both are serious professional tools and I barely scratch the surface.  However, they are still an amazingly powerful combination even when utilizing the most basic functionality.  The things I find I use the most are:

• Dimension Pro Synth/Sampler
• Garritan Pocket Orchestra
• Sonitus FX Suite (Multi-band Comp!)
• Flute (most versitile instrument in the orchestra)

The Music

The CD ‘Red’ was my first attempt at creating, mixing, and mastering a full CD of quality content.  'Orange' was an idea that morphed into a CD. Both were done from start to finish by myself so please excuse any mistakes or mis-steps. 

Music can be incredibly complicated and detailed when you start to break it down. ‘TIMING IS HUGE’.  And as someone who doesn’t noteread, I picked up a bunch of  bad habits along the way that all come back to bite when I try to put it all together!

So... Learn your scales, practice your notereading, and mind the metronome. Ha.
